The holiday season is a time for giving. What better way to give than to give back to others in need in Winston-Salem? Not only does it help our community grow stronger, but if you involve your children, it gives them a lifelong lesson in the importance of helping others when you can. With that in mind, here are ways you and your family can get involved in giving back in Winston-Salem this holiday season ... and all year long.

Giving trees in Winston Salem

 

The Purple Bench Collective

Located at 3784 Bethania Station Rd., Winston Salem

Starting Nov. 15th, The Purple Bench will have its Giving Tree up in the studio.  Ornaments with names submitted from local churches by children and parents in need of assistance this holiday season are hung on the tree.  Others on the tree are for sale for only $5 each and all proceeds will go towards the purchase of additional gifts.
