The Closet Consignment Store is located at 3784 Bethania Station Rd. hits the spotlight this week with Meet the Merchant. What a wonderful store filled with everything you can imagine, including the kitchen sink. There are a few key points that I want to make in regard to this store. First and most impressive, is this Mother and Daughter team that runs The Closet Consignment Store. The second is that the store has been in business for 26 years. Hats off to such a success story! Say that again, 26 years! I stopped in to talk with Sonia and Audrey who were busy unloading a truck, vacuuming a floor, and setting up a display. I had to walk and talk because these ladies did not miss a beat and were not slowing down.
The store is broken down into sections, which makes shopping easier, except for this shopper. I have to walk down every aisle, look at every trinket, and buy too many things. If you are looking for something for Fido, they even have a pet room. According to Audrey, it is impossible to look at everything in one visit. The store is never the same twice, so if you see something, you had better grab it now.
If you have not visited The Closet Thrift Store, I strongly urge you to make it a point to do so. If they don't have what you're looking for, it probably doesn't exist.
