We have all seen the destruction that Hurricane Ian left behind, and our hearts go out to all those this storm has affected. Help is needed, and the Michael Family Restaurant Group and its employees have stepped up to offer some relief, but they need your help. The organization formed this fundraiser to help their friends and family in their hometown of Fort Myers, Florida. I spoke to a Michael Family Restaurant Group representative who said their goal is to load their trucks and personally deliver them to their hometown. They will be purchasing pallets in large quantities to send down. Therefore, monetary donations will be accepted at all Michael Family Restaurant Group locations. (Mama Zoe Michael's, Waldo's Wings, Yamas Mediterranean Street Food, and Cin Cin Burger Bar). We will be setting up donations at all of our registers and we will also be offering our Venmo link. Any help and prayers are greatly appreciated.
I was amazed to see the amount of selflessness that had gone into putting this fundraiser together and was impressed that our little slice of heaven here in Winston-Salem cared enough to put it into action. It truly will take an army to pull this off, so here I am spreading the word to do my part to help with this cause.
