Happy Thanksgiving Winston-Salem

What are You Grateful For?

By Jeffrey Willey Publisher Macaroni KID Winston-Salem, NC November 24, 2022

With the hustle of the holidays upon us, it is easy to lose sight of the things that we are grateful for in our lives.  We only get one trip around the sun, and I want to make mine count, taking chances when they present themselves, and saying I love you more often to my family and friends.  I want them to know while I am here, so they will never have to guess when I am gone.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I wanted to share my list of gratefuls with you, our readers.  If you are moved to do so, take a moment and jot down what you are grateful for this holiday season.

I am grateful for...

My family and friends.  I do not know where I would be today without their very fiber.

My Health.

My freedom, and those who fought for it.

I am grateful for a nice, strong cup of black coffee first thing in the morning.

I am grateful for the home that provides me shelter, comfort, and happiness.

My furbabies, I said family, and they are, but I felt they needed their own mention.

In this life, I have been blessed with many wonderful things. Each morning I try to make a gratitude list to keep things in perspective and stay on track.  I leave you with this final item for my list... YOU!  Yes, you sitting here reading this in this moment.  A heartfelt thank you for being a subscriber. Thank you for allowing me to do what I love.  Providing an events calendar for a city is a blessing in itself.  So, once again, thank you to all of my followers; I AM GRATEFUL FOR ALL OF YOU.
