Last year, our local Town and Country Pool & Rec Center had to go through an expensive pool re-plastering process of around $80,000. As a non-profit organization with limited income, our team had to brainstorm on the best ways to acquire these funds. Thus, Spring Carnival was created in 2022, which resulted in great success, raising over $2,500! The community showed their support by coming together and enjoying themselves after such a trying period due to COVID restrictions.
In order to reach our re-plastering goal of $80,000, we are seeking to raise $5,000 this year with the Spring Carnival. The Spring Carnival will be held on April 29th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Town and Country Pool located at 3330 Briarcliffe Road in Winston-Salem. The carnival is free to attend and open to the public. Games and activities require wristbands or tickets. This year, we have an awesome line-up of LIVE performances and music. We will have a bounce obstacle course, a dunk tank with Bolt from The Dash Baseball Team, and much more!
