Understanding that your time is valuable, we have compiled some helpful information when looking into your child's preschool enrollment. Finding the right preschool can be an overwhelming task! What questions should you be asking? How do you choose between one or another? According to Suzanne Bouffard from Harvard Graduate School of Education, there are 5 key things to hone in on.
1. Are the adults talking to the children in caring and nurturing ways?
2. If children are disruptive are the teachers punishing them or are they helping them with a solution?
3. Is the classroom fun and joyful?
4. Are the children active?
5. Is the staff happy? Do they look like they are supported?
The preschools that are listed below have been submitted by readers or suggested by friends and family. If there is a preschool that you recommend and we have not listed them here please drop us an email and we will add them to the list. You will also find the link to Suzanne Bouffard's full article at the end of this guide.
