Upcycling, recycling, 2nd hand, rummaging call it what you want, but did you know that reusing items that have belonged to another is the biggest way to save our planet from waste? I used to never thrift shop, I figured if the original owner had no use for their items why on earth would I? That was all until I started thrifting for real. I could not believe the items that I would and still find.
I have furnished homes, created little DIY projects, and more from the treasures I would find pilfering through shelves, racks, and boxes at the local thrift store. I have compiled a list of my favorite consignment, thrift, and second-hand stores. I’ve included a few that I still would like to go to as a reminder. What are your favorites Winston-Salem? If I missed it, please drop me a line at mackidwinstonsalem@macaronikid.com. The obvious ones usually sit top of mind. However, if you explore Winston-Salem a bit more you will find some gems! Before taking that trip on the resale trail call ahead to make sure store hours haven’t changed.
