Lots of props (wagons, hay bales) on site to make for great photo opportunities. Pets are allowed as long as they are on a leash and supervised, no Fido surprises should be left behind.

Tractor-driven rides to pumpkin patches are offered. Private rides can be scheduled any day; public rides are open on weekends.

Family Fun Fest 2023: Friends Baptist Church, 1840 Lewisville Clemmons Rd., Clemmons
Our Family Fun Fest is sure to be a blast! We have tons of fun activities for everyone to enjoy, from the little ones to the older kids and even the adults. Kids can jump around in the bounce house, ride a bucking bull, or take part in a trunk or treat, where they can explore various decorated cars. Everyone will love collecting candy from all the different stops—plus extra bonus prizes! There’s also other fun stuff you don’t want to miss. It’s going to be a day full of fun and smiles that your family won’t forget. 1 pm to 4pm
Harvest Fest & Halloween Parade: Town and Country Pool, 3330 Briarcliffe Road NW, Winston-Salem
This is a neighborhood community fundraising event. We will have vendors, games, a pumpkin patch with a carving station, raffle items, music, a Halloween costume contest, a cake walk, food, our famous Halloween Parade, and more! 1 pm to 5 pm.
Trunk or Treat: The Purple Bench & The Closet Consignment, 3784 Bethania Station Rd., Winston-Salem
While you are out taking in all the fun to be had at BOO at Bethabara Park, be sure to stop by The Purple Bench/The Closet Consignment to take part in our first annual Trunk or Treat from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. or until the candy runs out. We will have vendors, games for the kids, and prizes. Don't forget, there will be CANDY. There will also be a judged costume contest for the kids, with a grand prize of a Family 4 pack for a paint party at The Purple Bench. Make it a full day with Bethabara Park, The Purple Bench, The Closet Consignment, and Macaroni KID Winston-Salem. 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm

Guests can choose to partake in a GHOST WALK (pre-registration required) , where they will meet a few spirits from Bethabara’s past (recommended for ages 12 and older); hear SPOOKY TALES by the acclaimed storyteller Cynthia Moore Brown and/or enjoy a HALLOWEEN PUPPET SHOW by Felt and Soul Puppet Theater (recommended for children under 12). 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Public Safety 6th Annual Drive-Thru Fall Festival: Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 4129 Northampton
This year we will have the 6th annual Public Safety “Drive-Thru” Fall Festival. The Fall Festival will be a free event for all children and their families. Our hope is to promote a safe and fun way for families to trick or treat, from the trunks of decorated first responder vehicles, as well as for all to enjoy time with everyone involved in public safety. Trick-or-treat in Kaleideum North’s Outdoor Science and Environmental Park and have some BOOsted fun! We’ll have weird science, a balloon artist, specialty vehicles, food trucks, live entertainment, and other spooktacular activities to experience! Adults: $5 online; $7 day of the event. Youth 1-19: $5 online; $7 day of the event. Children under 1 are free. Come one, come all to our family-friendly Trunk or Treat event at United Baptist Church (6pm-7:30pm, Oct. 31st, 2023, Halloween night). Our car trunks will be decorated and there will be candy galore! Stop by and say hello--Trunk or Treat is one of the ways our church likes to show God's love to our community.
